Meet Duncan
Practitioner · BSc (Hons) Acupuncture
Hi, I'm Duncan. I'm not here to just patch you up — I'm here to help you understand your body so you can get back to doing what you love.
With over 15 years of experience in the field, my background is a little different from the standard sports therapist. I started with a BSc Hons in Acupuncture before diving deep into sports and remedial massage. Over the years, I've moved away from rigid textbook methods to develop my own blended style, combining the precision of acupressure with the physical release of deep tissue work.
Whether you're a local athlete prepping for a marathon or just feeling the strain of a desk job, my goal is simple — effective, down-to-earth treatment without the jargon.
When I'm not in the clinic, you'll usually find me out climbing the coast or brewing a tea in the wild. I understand the demands life places on the body and I'm here to help you move easier.
My Therapies
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep, targeted pressure designed to reach the layers beneath everyday tension. The kind of work that actually shifts persistent tightness in the shoulders, hips, and lower back. The lead therapy at my Coleraine clinic, and usually the right starting point for anyone carrying long-standing tension or desk-posture build-up.
Book Deep TissueSports Massage
Focused preparation, maintenance, and recovery work for active bodies. Whether you're training for a specific event, playing regular sport, or feeling the strain of high-activity weeks, sports massage helps keep you moving well and recovering faster.
Book Sports MassageBack & Neck Massage
A focused session on the neck, shoulders, and upper back. Ideal if screen time, driving, or stress has left you with headaches, stiff mornings, or that familiar dull ache that sets in by mid-afternoon. A great entry point if you'd rather not book a full-body session.
Book Back & NeckCupping Therapy
Uses suction to facilitate deep tissue release, improve blood flow, and reduce inflammation. Excellent for stubborn tightness and myofascial restriction. Often combined with massage for enhanced results.
Book CuppingRemedial & Full Body Massage
A restorative blend designed to lower cortisol, improve circulation, and reset your nervous system. Full body relaxation and targeted remedial work both available. A good choice for stress relief, recovery weeks, or anyone new to massage.
Book RemedialWhat Clients Say
"I went to Duncan with consistent pain and tension in a few areas and am already feeling better after our session with an increased range of motion that I didn't realise was even an issue before today! He was very lovely and professional."— Aislinn S.
"Infuse go above and beyond for their clients! I don't like being touched, but I also have a chronically bad back. Duncan puts me at ease & tells me which muscles I'm overworking & how I can prevent it in future with stretches & posture. Great to have a therapist who is so attentive to personal needs. Definitely recommend!"— Carolann North
"Duncan has a wealth of knowledge and expertise which led to a very comfortable experience. He was able to offer some stretches after the massage to aid with recovery of the problem areas of my back. Excellent & friendly service!"— Callum Norris
"Have had several massages from Duncan, mostly back/neck, and these have been very beneficial in sorting out the pains I've had. First class and very worthwhile."— Eoin McGuckian

Common Questions
Loose, comfortable clothing is ideal. Depending on the area being treated, you may be asked to undress to your underwear — towels and draping are always used for your comfort and privacy. If you have any concerns, just let me know when you book.
Sessions typically run 60 or 90 minutes depending on the treatment. Your first appointment may include a short consultation to go over your history and goals — I'll always make sure you have the full hands-on time you've booked.
We'll start with a brief chat about what's brought you in — any pain, injuries, training goals, or just general tension. I'll explain what I'm planning to do before we begin, and I'll check in throughout. There's no pressure, no rush, and no jargon.
Deep tissue and sports massage can involve some discomfort — particularly on areas that are tight or in spasm — but it should never feel unbearable. I work to your threshold and adjust pressure based on your feedback. Good communication goes a long way, so please always speak up.
It depends on your goals. For injury recovery or chronic tension, weekly or fortnightly sessions often work best initially. For general maintenance, once a month is a good rhythm for most people. I'll give you an honest recommendation after your first session — never just to fill the diary.
